Our Basic Multiplication lesson plan introduces students to the basics of multiplication. Students are given numerous practice problems involving multiplication facts through 12. This lesson is for students in 3rd grade and 4th grade.

Included with this lesson are some adjustments or additions that you can make if you’d like, found in the “Options for Lesson” section of the Classroom Procedure page. One of the optional additions to this lesson is to have your students create a personal multiplication table using markers or colored pencils, which they can hang up at home.
