Description
This basic story map set is perfect for early literacy skills. Included are 5 pages with 4 different focus skills and one blank section for you to use as you see fit. All maps include a space for student name, the title of the book, a box for the characters and a box for the setting.
I have included 4 ready-to-print templates which include space for students to write and draw about their favorite part, retell the story using the beginning, middle, and end strategy, recall the problem and solution, and identify the main idea and details. The fifth page has the same top matter as the other four, but I have left the bottom section blank so you can fill in any additional skills/strategies your students may need to work on in reading.
