Beginning Letter Sounds is one of the first phonics skills your child will learn when starting school. This product will be helpful whether you are teaching in person or remotely with your youngest, most emergent of learners. You can compile a "picture dictionary" or individual anchor charts of words beginning with each letter of the alphabet.

Included you will find one B&W page per letter of the alphabet. The whole alphabet, with both capital and lowercase letters, is written across the page, with the corresponding letter highlighted in a bold font, to show its position is in the alphabet sequence. There is a large space assigned for drawing pictures of words that begin with the letter assigned to that page.

You can enlarge your chart you create as a class on a poster maker, to display in your classroom if you wish. Also included, is a cover sheet that is marked "MY PICTURE DICTIONARY" if students are compiling the anchor charts individually. You can also compile poster sized anchor charts to create a classroom "BIG BOOK" to refer back to often, throughout the school year.
