Hot Pass Procedure:

This hot pass procedure is displayed right outside of my classroom, the student is also given a laminated copy to keep in their binder. Using a specific hot pass procedure is very beneficial for consistency and a great classroom management tool.

Hot Pass Data Log:

The purpose of this log is so that you can quickly fill out data when a student enters your classroom for a hot pass break. Fill out the date, student name, time they entered, time they left, class period, and any comments. I will then use this data at the end of the day or when I get a free moment to enter into an ABC data Google Form.

ABC Data Google Form:

An ABC data sheet is a tool used in behavioral analysis to track and analyze the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences of a specific behavior. It helps to identify patterns and triggers that may be influencing the behavior. The sheet is divided into three sections: Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence. In the Antecedent section, you record what happened before the behavior occurred. In the Behavior section, you document the behavior itself, including its duration, intensity, and frequency. In the Consequence section, you note what happened immediately after the behavior. By consistently using an ABC data sheet, educators and professionals can gain valuable insights into behavior patterns, make informed decisions, and develop effective behavior intervention strategies.
