Blending Sounds Learning Target for First Grade
Share

Description

Based on California Content Standard 1.10- I use learning targets in every introduction and closure of a lesson or guided group. When students know the focus of their learning, their retention and application of a standard increases dramatically. Especially for students who are learning the English language, breaking down what and why they are learning something helps bring clarity and meaning to their learning. This specific target is for blending sounds. I have many others on my site for all areas of ELA.

I love your use of "photographs" to show students modeling the learning target. Thanks!
