Description

Teach students the ins and outs of bridges by engaging in a famous bridge research project and toothpick building challenge! You will receive graphic organizers that outline B.A.T.S (Beam, arch, truss, and suspension), an outline for a simple research project, and direct instructions for a toothpick bridge building challenge. The challenge requires students to build a bridge out of toothpicks and glue (often spans over the course of a week or two) and record cost efficiency. Direct instructions are given in the packet. Conduct a bridge breaking experiment after use of this workbook for an awesome extension!
