This project reviews all four basic operations (I choose to do this without calculators). This project also helps students come into the real world regarding the benefits and sacrifices of different career choices they make. They should understand that there is nothing wrong with working a minimum wage job, but there are sacrifices that go along with that. This project will help them compare their lifestyle in their dream job with their lifestyle if they don't finish school and can only get a minimum wage job. For my students, this project was a great motivator and reality check.
