About the store
I try to create activities that contain some kind of meaning or purpose related to real life. I've found that keeping things engaging and relevant is a major key to student buy-in, and thus, student success. A lot of my activities are also based on life experience growing up with family in the special needs community. I look at activities from not only the teacher side (what concepts will be taught) but the family side (how will this make a difference to their future) and the student side (what might they find interesting or boring).

Mean Absolute Deviation Tables
These tables are to guide students through the steps of solving Mean Absolute Deviation problems. They can be used for initial note-taking, guided practice or long term support. There are 6 on a page but they are in a MS Word format so can be edited as needed. Battleship Graphing Points on Coordinate Plane Game
This graphing activity, based off of the game Battleship is great review for any type of coordinate plane graphing. This Battleship instruction set can be paired with any print off of graphs (usually 2-4 per page). Customize your graphs to the level of your students (how many quadrants and how large of numbers). Can be used with a wide variety of grades of students.

Human Coordinate Plane Lesson Plan
A full class period lesson plan that serves as hands on practice with the coordinate plane. This activity gets students up and moving around and interacting with one another and the lesson. I've done this activity with a small group, but larger groups could do it by dividing into 2-3 groups. The cooperative learning that goes on from students helping one another is excellent. Takes a little preparation but students can help set up/tear down quickly.

Angle Relationship Jeopardy
A fully functional, very aesthetically pleasing jeopardy style power point. This game reviews vocabulary, name the angle, name the relationship, proofs, and more.

This currently address out of seat, calling out, and overall behavior. It has spaces for tallies and ratings.
I give this to core teachers as an easy tool to gather data on students with behavior difficulties. The feedback I've received from them is that it is easy to use and they just keep it beside them while they're teaching.
This gives great numerical data for writing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.

TI-83 Calculator Statistics Instructions
A "cheat sheet" for students learning to use the basic 1-variable statistics on a TI-83+ calculator.
The instructions are broken into 5 parts:

Add/Subtract on Number Line - Whole Numbers and Integers
This activity walks students through adding/subtracting using a number line in a gradual build. It starts with simple single-digit addition and subtraction before introducing integers using the exact same process. It contains images/videos of some problems to allow students to check their work but concludes with a set of problems for them to attempt independently.

Budget Math Project
This project reviews all four basic operations (I choose to do this without calculators). This project also helps students come into the real world regarding the benefits and sacrifices of different career choices they make. They should understand that there is nothing wrong with working a minimum wage job, but there are sacrifices that go along with that. This is a comprehensive overview of a student's IEP. This can be printed front and back, stuck in a notebook, and carried from class to class so you always have IEP information ready. This form includes information on parent contact, IEP goals, accommodations/modifications, student schedules and more.

Teaching style
In teaching EC students, I have found the need for many hands-on activities. I can't stand doing all worksheets and formal notes. We have to get down and dirty with math.
My own education history
I have a Bachelor's in Special Education with a concentration in Math.
