Description

Bug Stack 'Em is a math fluency game that allows to students to play as they practice subitizing, counting, adding, composing and decomposing numbers. This game requires very limited prep: simply print (laminate for longevity) and play. This game requires two six sided dice and unifix cubes. This product contains 10 full color game boards and 10 black and white game boards.

In Kindergarten, I find that playing the same game at different times of the school year with different graphics can be as engaging as introducing a new game. In my classroom we happen to introduce this game during our garden unit. Please reach out if you would like to purchase a copy of this game with a different graphics theme. I have a pretty broad scope available and I'm happy to collaborate! Happy Teaching!

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
