I used this presentation, study guide, review game and quiz with my 6th and 7th grade students in General Music Class. It is an overview of the Baroque period in history and music.
As the students are presented with material in the PowerPoint, they should use the study guides and fill in the blanks. I underlined the words they needed for their notes. However if this is too easy or you want to use it with older students, you can remove the underlined words from the PowerPoint. All files are editable.
There are musical examples embedded in the PowerPoint.
The Jeopardy review game includes the questions in the quiz. The template was created by Mark Damon. I have contacted him. There is also a Hollywood Squares game. If you don't know how to play this game, click here for instructions.
The Study Guide, Word Search, Quiz, and Answer Key are Microsoft Word documents. The presentation is in PowerPoint.
