This packet contains graphic organizers to use with any nonfiction book. It covers all of the Common Core State Standards for informational text. It also includes many of the speaking and listening standards. Some handouts are intended to be used with partners or groups of students so that there is a lot of discussion. I have used them in my first grade classroom and they worked quite well when combined with anchor charts. After introducing them, I use them during my literacy center/daily 5 time.
