Description

The CUBES math strategy is one of the most popular among math teachers.

This product includes 2 different options for introducing the CUBES strategy to your students. The first option is already filled out and your students can focus on practicing the strategy using the two sample questions included. The second option is blank and would require for your students to write the strategies down before practicing the problems. Personally, I've had more success using the second option, but having both helps with differentiation.

I have included an exemplar of how I use this strategy with Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 questions. Use this exemplar to guide you to help your students understand how to apply this strategy.

Fantastic resource for my son with dyscalculia, this gives him the insight that he needs to better solve word problems, which can be confusing to him. Very grateful for this resource!! And also great for my 7th grader to know what clues to look for!
