Description
These resources break down the Part = Percent * Total formula and the simple interest formula, along with explaining how to find a total with a percent increase/decrease and how to find a percent increase/decrease. Resources were designed for maximum student involvement & movement within the classroom!
On day 1, two pages of explanations/practice can be used as scaffolded notes driven by the teacher or student-centered using the jigsaw cooperative learning method (instructions provided).
On day 2, students play Capture the Flag to practice 20 different percentage problems. Instructions, colored flags, and detailed answer keys are provided for all problems.
