Description
Your Calculus students will work together to practice Integrating Rational Functions Using Long Division with this set of 12 Challenging Task Cards. Long division is an often a method to break down rational functions. In these problems the remainders can be integrated with basic rules. This activity will reinforce your students skills and give them practice and confidence while they continue to learn more techniques of Integration.
This activity can also be used as precursor to Integration by Partial Fractions in Calculus 2 and AP Calculus BC
What's Included?
- !2 Task cards - 4 to a sheet. Print on colored paper or black and white. Note: students will need to know how to integrate using the inverse tangent and natural logarithms in order to solve some on these problems. Please look at previews to make sure these aee appropriate for your classes.
- Show your work pages, set up for easy grading with partially completed example to get students started.
- Full typed Solutions
- Answer page which can be given to students and used to use for self checking should you choose.
