Description
Designed for morning routine in a high school special education setting, this set is for the individual students and is made with completely unique and age appropriate images (for high school and young adults). You won't find this artwork anywhere else!
Includes pages to add to your board and large sized images so the class can follow along. For the student individual pages, there is:
- Today, tomorrow, and yesterday
- The month and the day
- What today will feel like
- Seasons
- Weather types
- Clothing (to correspond to the correct weather)
- Today I am feeling
- What holiday is in the current month
- Spot for birthdays
The thermometer is in increments of five to reinforce counting by 5's as we count by 5's for time and money (when using touch money coins). In my class, we count by fives, up to the temperature of the day (or to 100) after rounding, and then use dry erase markers to draw a line on the thermometer. We also use dry erase markers to circle the other pieces of the calendar.
If you would like the large images and signs to do this as an entire class, you can find the whole routine kit HERE.
