This camp reflection requires students to use topic sentences and set their work out into clear paragraphs - an introduction, several body paragraphs and a conclusion. So while they think they are doing a simple reflection on a school camp (or you could adapt it to an excursion or holiday), they are actually beginning to use an essay structure. This will make your future teaching of essay writing so much easier! It also includes a self-reflection so students can evaluate how well they worked on this task.
