Description

This worksheet can be used with almost any book. Simply have the students write the names of the characters under or above the people figures. Students must use reasoning to figure out which character is oldest. They must fill out the character names in order from oldest to youngest. For many book this will require logical reasoning. Students can decorate the people characters to match the description of the characters. In the table, students can write whatever you want them to focus on relating to the characters. For example, you might assign students to write about the physical traits, personality traits, or actions of the characters.
Aligns to Common Core English Language Arts (ELA) Standard RL3 for third grade if you have students use the form to describe characters and their traits, feelings, etc.
