A one pager focused soley on CHARACTER, but requires students to show their understanding of CONFLICT and THEME.

After completing a short story or novel, have your students show what they know about characters. The activity allows them to mix art and writing to capture the essence of a character. While there are a few questions geared toward basic reading comprehension, it works its way into analytical questions.

I included a second template. This template (instructions are included!) is perfect for lower grades (5th or 6th) or for students who need more support. (Larger writing space and fewer tasks).

I have included a massive list of character traits, both positive and negative, that can be used year-round.
