A zipped folder with an editable Word / PowerPoint / Excel version and a PDF version of each file:

- a lesson plan on why different materials are more or less suitable for making different objects
- a PowerPoint on Why we choose certain materials for certain objects
- a list of unsuitable materials for different objects (which can be seen in the preview). Children to draw a cartoon to show what would happen in each case e.g. they might draw a cup crumbling and spilling hot tea on someone because it is made from newspaper
