***Get students excited for Christmas while reviewing math standards that students need to master for third. This Christmas math task has students become Santa's little helper, while helping him prepare for Christmas Eve.

Within this math task students will build upon each problem and use their skills in: addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, solving multi-step word problems, tables, and time by creating a schedule for Santa's night.

Although this task uses mostly third grade standards, it also will be useful for fourth and fifth grade students in order to prepare them for the end of the year state wide tests. It may also be used for second grade students as a way to challenge them in a fun and engaging way.
