Description

Circle concepts coloring sheets are great Pi Day math activities or great activities for any circles practice or review day! Math coloring pages make concepts much more engaging that regular math worksheets!

  • Students solve 15 or 20 problems, self-check, and color in both the print and digital versions.
  • Reference sheet with circle vocab and formulas included, in case your students haven’t worked with circles much yet.

Check out the Preview and video demo above to see what's included and to see how the Google Slides version works (students will need to know how to use the "Fill color" feature).

These Pi Day problems require students:

  • Find area of circles
  • Find circumference of circles
  • Find diameter when given area or circumference
  • Find radius when given area or circumference
  • Find area, given circumference (1 problem)

In this easy-prep Pi Day/circles resource you get:

1) Two print versions:

Version A

  • Problem sheet with 20 questions
  • Coloring sheet

Version B

  • Problem sheet with 15 questions (less challenging than Version A)
  • Coloring sheet – same pattern as Version A, different color scheme

2) One digital version:

  • Same problems and same coloring as print version A
  • Students type their answers in the answer box
  • Students use the ‘Fill color’ bucket to color the shapes
  • Questions are not editable (they are in the background) but the shapes and numbers in the pattern ARE movable.
  • Link to Slides is after the print items in the PDF download.

3) Reference sheet, in case your students haven’t worked with circles much yet.

4) Answer keys

5) One coloring page with no numbers, so students can color for fun, create their own color by numbers, or for you to create your own color by number activities for your classes.
