These civil rights cootie catchers are a great way for students to review what they have learned about the different historical figures and events which occurred during the Civil Rights Movement. How to Play and Assembly Instructions are included.
These Cootie Catchers contain the following:
1. Students identify the Famous Person from the Civil Rights Movement:
♦ John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Lyndon B. Johnson, Thurgood Marshall, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr. John Lewis, George Wallace
2. Students Identify the term from the description:
♦ Brown v. Board of Education, Jim Crow Laws, Black Panthers, Plessy v. Ferguson, Civil Rights Act of 1968, Civil Rights Act of 1964, 1963 March on Washington,
Freedom Riders
3. Students create their own description for the vocabulary term
These cootie catchers come in color and black & white, and also come with a version where students can add their own definitions. All of this totals 10 usable pages which has students identifying vocabulary terms (with pictures) based from the definition.
