You can EASILY download the Google Slides ™ as a PowerPoint if that platform works better for you! (directions inside) Perfect reading comprehension activity for distance learning!

Topics include: Civil Rights Movement, the Montgomery Bus Boycott, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Little Rock Nine and Ruby Bridges

Students will read a short paragraph and then answer a question, move onto the next paragraph on a new slide and complete the corresponding question. There are 14 short passages and 14 questions.

Great way to introduce the Civil Rights Movement to students. Students were engaged in the activity. Easy to use resource that required no prep. Can be used for distance learning or in class. Students worked on this in partners and learned crucial information to build their background knowledge.
