Description

This Civil Rights Interactive Notebook is the perfect addition to your social studies classroom! It includes 8 pages of interactive notes and graphic organizers that students can fill out to learn about the events surrounding the Civil Rights Movement. The notes are appropriate for upper elementary or middle school students and can be used throughout your unit.

This notebook includes information about the following topics:

1. Jim Crow Laws

2. Brown vs. Board of Education

3. Rosa Parks

4. Montgomery Bus Boycott

5. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

6. "I Have a Dream" Speech

7. March on Washington

8. The Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act

9. 24th Amendment

10. Assassinations of the 1960s

11. Civil Rights Movement Timeline

I love using interactive notes in my classroom, but I know that they take a lot of time to cut and glue! I always make my products with limited cutting in order to save time.
