Have students practice their CER skills using this fun and interactive lab! This is a fabulous lab to get students introduced to writing CER conclusion paragraphs at the start of the year. Students will use stomp rockets to determine which angle of launch will cause the stomp rocket to fly furthest down the field. They will analyze their data collected out in the field and will write a conclusion paragraph in the CER format using the given template.

• Stomp rocket (1 set of rockets and launcher per group of 2-3 students)
• Field for launch
• Measuring tape
