Description
This project is used to wrap up our classification unit in middle school. It requires students to create an animal based on existing animal classifications. It generates good discussion and a lot of student interest. I ask students to combine two animals to create a new species. Then using the Animal Diversity website they can research classification.
Note: This can be used with another freebie from Quirky Literature to do an integrated project. Following this link for the writing portion of this assignment.
