The Bug Jar-Classroom Community Management System

"The Bug Jar" is an anonymous mailbox system that fosters classroom community and effective problem-solving skills.

Students learn to view their minor conflicts differently as they take 'the personal' out of a situation and focus on the specific issue (or behavior) at hand. Students don't just 'tattle'- they gain a new perspective through 'cooling off' and writing down their thoughts. Children become better communicators and more mature decision makers as they use this system with the SOLE intention of making the classroom a productive and positive learning community for all.
