Description

Coding is a fun and engaging way for students to build their critical thinking and problem solving skills through a STEM activity. These screen free activities are a great way to participate in the Hour of Code™ without using technology. This coding resource is full of different unplugged coding activities for students to complete. There are four different activities for students to complete with different versions of the game boards for easy differentiation. There are also extra game boards so students can complete the activity many times as the game boards are all different. 3 of the 4 challenges have students collecting various items on the game boards in a particular order. The 4th challenge is less sophisticated with students collecting pieces of a robot in any order in order to build a robot.

This resources is part of a money saving Seasonal Coding Bundle.

Use these coding activities for a STEM lesson or in a center for science and critical thinking skills. Students can play independently, in pairs or in small groups. There are no wrong answers as long as the students follow the order for how to collect each item in the directions.
