Description

Students will love collecting data and creating picture graphs with these fall themed math task cards. Students will see a set of autumn objects and organize the objects into numerical data. Then, they will create a picture graph from the data they collected.

These 2nd grade place value task cards are available digitally through Google Slides™ and are also printable as well. They are fall themed and no prep. Just print the cards or assign digitally to use as a math center, during rotations or in small groups. Students can practice recognizing even and odd numbers independently, with a partner or in a small group with a teacher.


CCSS Alignment:

  • 2.MD.D.10 Draw a picture graph and a bar graph (with single-unit scale) to represent a data set with up to four categories. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a bar graph.
