Description

Challenge your students to sharpen their math skills with these 10 fun and engaging color-by-code puzzles for upper elementary students. These puzzles are truly no-prep! Just print and go!

You get these 10 puzzles:

-Primes and Composites

-Rounding to Tens

-Rounding to Hundreds

-Reducing Fractions

-Classifying Angles

-Equivalent Fractions

-Rounding Decimals to Tenths

-Multiplication

-Division

-Simplifying Expressions

I’ve included a color answer key for fast visual checking. Students can even check their own work!

Use the coloring tool of your choice. I recommend that students use crayons or coloring pencils. Students will only need a basic set of 12.

NOTE ON TIME: Some of the puzzles can take a good amount of time, especially if students are practicing the skill with pencil/paper. Give your kids plenty of time to complete them. You might use some of the puzzles as a project of the week, homework, or even a collaborative activity with a partner. You also might assign just a few of the problems as Morning Work each day for a week.

These make a great display and are a good piece to include in a math portfolio. I've included suggestions for extensions and content notes.
