This PowerPoint has nine common comma rules for teaching the basics of comma usage. Each slide has a rule and one or two examples of using that particular rule in a sentence. I have also incorporated comma memes/jokes that apply to a couple of the rules to keep students entertained.

Students can copy notes or I also have a comma rule fill in the blank note sheet that goes along with the PowerPoint in my store.
