This community helper themed activity is a resource to help students practice plane shapes. It is an interactive game that works well for small group, or independent practice.
Includes
The packet includes a student version of matching cards. These cards come in both color and black and white. They can be used for independent practice, or as a partner activity. The packet also includes 11 larger colored cards that work well for a small group, or math center activity.
Easel Activity
There is a self-checking Easel activity that uses the 11 shapes from the resource packet. Students find the shape asked for on each slide. Then they check to see if their answers are correct.
Student Engagement
Students are actively engaged as they learn the shapes and work to match the cards. Working with others adds to the fun and also helps to keep students engaged.
