Description
This entertaining Valentine’s Day math activity provides the students with twelve roses and three flower vases. Each rose is labels with a fraction and the three vases are labeled lees than a half, exactly a half, and more then a half. The students are asked to color and cut out the roses and place them in the correct vase. For example, the “1/3 rose” would be pasted into the “less then a half” vase. The “3/6” rose would be pasted into the “exactly half” vase and the “6/8 rose” would be pasted into the “more than a half” vase. This fun activity could easily be used as a quick assessment.
