Enjoy this packet of activities with your class during your greater than/ less than unit. Perfect for gluing in math journals! Use these activities in addition to or as an extension of Go Math Chapter 7. There are several different activities that include:
*identifying the greater and lesser numbers by writing <, >, or =
*creating your own number sentence with < and > already included (CCSS aligned)
*identifying x is less than or greater than x
*comparing numbers by drawing tens and ones and seeing which has more
*coloring the elephants and piggies greater than 67 and tell how you know those numbers are greater
*identifying numbers that are greater than x and less than x
*recording 10 more and 10 less than a number
*completing less than and greater than words problems and justifying answers
