Practice Comparing Numbers with Symbols with >, =, and < with these 24 Task Cards. Numbers within 100 are shown in base 10 to help those students who are still developing strong number sense. These Task Cards are super fun and can be used many ways: whole group review for First Grade as a scavenger hunt, scoot game, or small group as a math center for additional practice and intervention for Grade 2.
It’s so important for young learners to have a deep understanding of double digit numbers. This resource is extremely visually appealing and great for getting math brains to think in the pictorial stage and abstract stage. It’s as equally important to get young learners UP and MOVING! A favorite way to use this resource is as a scavenger hunt. Hiding the task cards around the room and seeing students have a BLAST searching everywhere, all while strengthening their addition & subtraction math skills, is just how we want students learning!
