Description

Students will have an easy to read notes page explaining the symbols 'greater than', 'less than', and 'equal to' for their math notebook. On the back are two strategies that work well for all learners to remember how to orient the inequality.

Dots strategy:

The larger number gets two dots and the smaller number gets one dot. Connect the lines between the larger and smaller number to make the inequality.

Bird Beak strategy (my FAVORITE):

Circle the larger number and then make it a bird by adding a fat beak. This will ALWAYS give students the correct sign.
