LOW PREP 24 comparing three digit numbers task cards. Aligned to second grade CCSS (2.NBT.A.4). Students will practice comparing three digit numbers using base tens blocks, compare using >,< or = and use comparative language. This set has an adorable dog detective theme with three versions: color, ink saver and b/w. Use as independent practice, small group, SCOOT game, Solve the Room activity or in a math station. There are also base tens and comparison symbols manipulatives. These would be a great addition to your Sub Tub or morning work routine!
There are separate recording sheets labeled for SCOOT & Solve the Room activities.
Print, cut out, laminate and GO!
You will find 72 task cards (24 in each set):
- 24 task cards in color
- 24 ink saver
- 24 task cards in b/w
- Compare three digit numbers within 1,000
- Base tens
- Comparison symbols
- Comparative language
- Work mat
- Manipulatives (base tens and comparison symbols)
- Three versions of recording sheet (to include SCOOT & Solve the Room)
The PDF version can be emailed directly to families or shared through a secure classroom website. The TpT Digital version can be shared via Google Classroom™, Canvas, etc. Students can use the drawing tools to answer.
