Students will simplify complex numbers in this winter themed digital task card set. Both addition and subtraction of complex numbers are included requiring students to combine real numbers and imaginary numbers to choose the correct answer. These digital task cards can also be used as a digital quiz and contains 20 self-checking, multiple choice questions using Google Forms™. This is a no prep activity. An answer key has also been provided.

☞ Topics include:

• Problems 1-16: adding and subtracting two imaginary numbers
• Problems 17-20: adding and subtracting two imaginary numbers with one real number
• Some problems do required knowledge of the distributive property.
• All question and answer cards have a winter theme and background.
