Description
This drag & drop activity for use with Google Slides is great for distance learning or one-to-one classrooms!
This activity contains 2 slides over Complex Numbers Operations.
On slide 1, the student adds or subtracts two complex numbers. Scalar multiplication is involved in some of the questions first.
On slide 2, the student multiplies an imaginary number by a complex number or two complex numbers are multiplied. There are 3 division questions. The student will need to multiply by the conjugate of the denominator on 2 of the questions.
Students will answer the first addition question. The correct answer is at the top of one of the rectangles. Once they find that rectangle, they drag & drop it into place. The next question is at the bottom of that rectangle. They continue in this manner adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing complex numbers and placing the rectangles in the correct spots, following the arrows until they get to the end.
Students will answer a total of 15 equations and there will be 5 extra rectangles that won't be used.
Save paper and go digital! Plus, the key is color-coded for easy grading!
Also includes a paper version with the same questions - students cut & paste instead.
