Scratch 3.0 Coding Lesson 1 - Name Project
This is the first lesson in series of lessons to form a Scratch 3.0 coding unit. Students take a look at a simple and concise introduction to computer coding and programing through a relevant and initiative environment that fosters creativity and builds strong computing skills.
This is a great way for students to be introduced to the world of computer programming and coding in a fund and interactive way!

- Create the beginning of a simple program in Scratch 3.0 coding

Students will be able be able to navigate the workspace while learning vocabulary to Be successful inside of the Scratch environment. Students will comprehend the basic move blocks in scratch. They will understand how to Glide sprites, use the “go tox_____ y____ block” and the “move ___ Steps block”. The videos associated with this lesson have a fill in the blank worksheet coupled with them for students to either turn in or keep to assist them in comprehension and retention of the information presented in the video.
