Description

This solving multiplication equations game is a fun activity to help students practice solving one step multiplication equations. Students solve these one step equations as they try to be the first to connect four consecutive spaces on their game board. It includes a printed and digital Google slides option.

It is intended for upper elementary or middle school math classrooms. The game is played in small groups or partners (2-6 players). This product includes:

1) Rules of Play and Instructions

2) 6 Multiplication Equations Game Boards

3) 16 Multiplication Equations Playing Cards

4) 3 Multiplication Equations Answer Sheets

5) Link to a Google slides edition of game boards and playing cards

In the Connect Four game, students flip over a playing card and must solve the problem on the card. Once a student gets their answer, they must cover up that answer on their board. The first person to get four in a row wins the game.

Engaging activity for students. When I copied the boards I did them back to back and in different colors so the students could quickly spot the different boards. I also did the cards in in different colors and 2 different groups.
