*Conservation and Environment foldable- with definitions
*Water Model Lab- Students will model how much of each type of water is on the earth
*Just a Little Drip Lab- Students will simulate a leaky faucet to see why we need to conserve water
*Natural Resources and Man-made Resources foldable
*Man-made Resources and Natural Resources Sort
*Renewable and Nonrenewable Resources foldables
*Peanuts in the Mail Lab- Students will learn about biodegradable resources and see how Styrofoam peanuts do not dissolve in water, but cornstarch peanuts do
*Pollution Passage- A short passage about types of pollution with a foldable for notes
*Conservation Vocabulary Match Up- Using words litter, landfill, environmentally friendly, and compost bin
*Reduce, reuse, recycle sort
*Human Impact on the Environment foldable- Students will complete the foldable by putting the impact of different situations in a foldable
*Oil Spill Investigation- Students will simulate an oil spill in a bowl and see the effects on a feather and how hard it is to clean
*Save our Earth Poster- Students will create a poster trying to explain why they need to save one type of natural resource
This ends up being 17 pages worth of an interactive notebook! There are many places for differentiation added in. For all foldables and activities there are teacher directions and pictures given. Would also be great for an Earth Day interactive notebook!
