Use these contraction cards to run an inquiry activity.

Cut out the cards and pass one to each student. Without giving any instruction on the topic, tell the students to go try to find a "match" for their card. Tell them the cards won't be the same, but they will go together somehow. When they have found someone they think they "match" with, they have to come up with an idea for why they go together.

This is a fun way to get kids moving, discussing ideas, and making connections.
