Students read the non-fictional information about each dinosaur and then have to use dimensional analysis to solve questions pertaining to how fast dinosaurs swim in kilometers per second into miles per hour.

Students enjoy doing this assignment. Its a great one for general science students, beginning chemistry students and environmental science students alike.
