On page 1, students will circle the correct number of things in each box. Page 1 includes 9 boxes that each have a different number (numbers 1-12) of school items (3 pencils, 5 pairs of scissors, 11 paper clips, etc.) for students to count and circle the correct of the three number answer options (ex: circle: 3 | 4 | 2 ).
On page 2, students will count different types of toys, then they will write the number of each kind of toy that they see in the box beside each kind of toy. There are 5 sets of toys (4 teddy bears, 5 Rubik's Cubes, 2 toy trucks, 1 robot toy, and 3 doll toys). There is a number bank at the top of the page for students to use to help them free-write each number from 1-5 in the boxes.
On page 3, students will draw and color the correct number of what each picture shows (draw: 3 hearts, 4 smiley faces, 5 flowers, 6 trees, 7 suns, and 8 birds). They can do this in pencil or with colored pencils, crayons, or markers!
On page 4, students will color the picture of the dog made out of shapes by shape! They will keep the squares white, color the half circles pink, the rectangles brown, the ovals black, the circles blue, and the triangles orange (each shape is labeled and in its color for students to refer to at the top of the page). Students will need crayons / markers / colored pencils in each shape color.
