Description
This dot to dot snowflake counts by 5s. Follow the pattern or the picture stays hidden. This activity is great for winter, especially if it's after the Christmas season, or if you have students who don't celebrate Christmas.
These are not your mother's dot to dots. They skip count by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s, and they begin at various start points, increasing the challenge.
There is a "hard" and "easy" version of this puzzle. You can differentiate so that your early and accomplished learners can each have a meaningful challenge they can be successful at.
Incorporate these puzzles into your number sense, operations, and patterning instruction and assessment. Use them in whole class instruction, as part of your math centers, or for a fun but educational seasonal activity to do with your class.

My high ability students LOVED this challenge! Perfect for early finishers that isn't done in 10 seconds flat!
Wish their was some simpler lower ability ones as they would love to be able to do one also :)
