Description

This mathematical inquiry based project relates a range of student learning to an authentic context.

In the instruction sheet, I have provided two copies:
One has included topics listed (fractions, decimals, basic facts, addition and subtraction strategies, place value, measurement, geometry etc) for your students to select from.
The other is blank, allowing you to write in the topics you would like your students to focus on.

Throughout the four tasks, students will brainstorm, design and create a maths-based board game with the aim of strengthening others maths skills.

Each task has student instructions, reflection questions and a student checklist.

Use as a base to inspire other problems, or use as is. This task is group based and would be covered over a week dependent upon your students; it can be provided as an independent project too. I created this for my GATE 6th Grade students.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my store - Educating Amy - feel free to check out my other integrated inspired products.

Great idea but seemed to be missing more instructions in the development stage. I thought it would be more thorough when it came to designing and creating the game, especially for the price.
