Chuck Close Lesson and Art Project

Chuck Close (1940–2021) was an American artist who wascelebrated for his innovative approach to portraiture. He was renowned for his photorealistic paintings, which he created using a grid system to meticulously recreate photographs on a larger scale. Despite facing physical challenges later in life, Close continued to push the boundaries of traditional portraiture, experimenting with different materials and techniques.
