Description
Crypto-Riddles are a great way to get your kids practicing their basic math skills. This edition contains jokes with a Spring season theme. Each puzzle contains 10 to 12 math problems which must be solved in order to decode a silly joke or riddle. The focus is on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for facts 1 through 12. The puzzles are also self-checking in that students won't be able to decode the riddle if they have gotten a wrong answer or two.
Each printable page of Crypto-Riddles comes with 2 riddles. Teachers just need to cut the pages in half before handing them out. Each puzzle has a spot for students to write their name and record whether they liked the riddle or not with a fun set of emojis!
These puzzles make great fillers and starters. They are easy for substitutes to use and easy to send home for home practice. Be sure to have some handy when you need to keep the students busy for a few minutes!
