Description
This is a common core aligned ELA story and question set, in cursive. This one includes three questions with space to write answers in cursive. Also includes answers, common core alignments, and discussion questions! Can be used as a worksheet without discussion.
This story, The Old Hound, can also touch on ageism and ableism due to the old hound having age related infirmities and not being able to do his job.
Many people complain that modern standards (including but also before common core) have made it so there is no time to teach cursive. I personally believe that learning to read cursive is important so I made these CC aligned worksheets using fables as the reading material.
They could be used as a bonus to regular cursive or ELA, as a fun thing for kids who get done early, as extra credit, or for GATE.
Get this and others in the Cursive ELA-Aesop's Fables. BUNDLE. Common Core! NO Prep!
